Shoton-Opera Festival 2010
The 15th Annual Shoton-Opera Festival 2010 starts from 27th March to 6th April 2010, Dharamsala
As advised by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in working towards the promotion and creating awareness about Tibetan opera tradition, especially among the youths and youngster, this year Shoton Opera Festival will witness presentation of an opera each by participating troupe in various schools located in and around Dharamsala. It is our sincere hope that these presentations will bring focus on the rich classical arts and eventually inspire younger generation to take pleasure in deeper and subtler values of these ancient mythological tales.
