Shoton, The Opera Festival, was held from 23rd March to 1st April. It was organized by TIPA and funded by the Heinrich Boell Foundation (HBF) in Germany. The festival lasted 10 days and there were performances by Lhamo associations from Bylakuppe, Nepal, Bhandara, Mainpat, Mundgod, Kalimpong, and Mussoorie. TIPA presented the concluding Lhamo performance on the final day.
